This online training is designed for high-level managers who need to acquire a Computer Network Defense Service Provider (CND SP) for their organization, information assurance (IA) professionals who want to transition into a CND SP career path, and for individuals who desire a general knowledge of computer network defense (CND) and CND SPs.
It will take a MINIMUM of 2 hours to complete this online course. The student may log on and off as needed. A bookmark will be set so when they log back in they will return to where they left off.
Upon successful completion each student will have immediate access to a printable DoD Computer Network Defense training certificate and wallet card.

The Computer Network Defense course is designed to help you understand what computer network defense is and the actions that DoD Components must take to ensure the security of DoD networks and information systems. This course also explains the role of the CND Service Provider, or CND SP, in protecting and defending DoD information systems and networks.
