Course synopsis.
Computer–based attacks happen every day. This Information Assurance course will cover what you can do to protect your organization from becoming another statistic.
In the first module, Executive Goals, we will examine the need to assess current policies and practices. Then we will identify steps that can be taken toward establishing a security policy that is based on organizational risk and applicable laws.
In the second module, Accountability, we will discuss establishing clear guidelines and procedures and how to ensure accountability and personal compliance.
In the third module, Operational Controls, we'll discuss how to establish physical and network security to protect your organization's assets.
Each Information Assurance training module begins with a brief introduction followed by a section titled "Setting The Stage", where realworld examples are given, followed by their lessons learned.
