MSHA Mining Personal Protective Equipment
Below is a list of our MSHA Part 46 surface mining and Part 48 underground mining personal protective equipment training courses. To be MSHA compliant your company must have a training plan that is approved by MSHA and administered by a competent person. Your company can use any or all of our courses as part of that plan. Training can begin immediately anywhere there is an Internet connection. Upon successful completion the student will have immediate access to a printable certificate and wallet card.
Significant hazards exist at mine sites, including falling objects, flying sparks, chemicals, noises, and more. Fortunately, modern advances such as mandatory MSHA regulations training and mining personal protective equipment (PPE) help keep workers safe while working in mines.
We offer online certification in Part 46 personal protective equipment and in Part 48 personal protective equipment training. While 30 CFR applies many identical standards for surface mining personal protective equipment and underground personal protective equipment, mining PPE must be appropriate for specific risks and hazards present at the mining site.
Our selection of MSHA PPE online training courses benefit miners, supervisors, and other individuals who work on mine sites. MSHA personal protective equipment training is a required component of your company's MSHA-compliant training plan.
Controlling a hazard at its source is the best way to protect employees. When both engineering controls and administrative controls fail to provide sufficient protection against hazards, proper mining PPE can be the difference between a life-altering or minor injury.
