Construction Overhead Protection with Safety Nets

Secure objects that are not in use to prevent them from falling on anyone working below. Safety nets will help ensure that objects dropped during work do not injure anyone. Remove objects that fall into a safety net as quickly as possible to avoid damaging the net or injuring a person who might later fall onto the net. As a further protective measure, the controlling contractor must schedule work so that no one is working beneath a project without overhead protection, such as safety nets.
