Making an MSHA Part 48 Training Plan

mining personal protective equipment

Online Training Certification Course

from the highest rated and most trusted online training company - since 2008.

Underground mine work can be hazardous, even deadly, without proper safety training. MSHA requires mine operators to develop and submit a Part 48 training plan for MSHA approval prior to the start of any mining operations.

A MSHA Part 48 training plan must contain a minimum set of requirements to receive approval. In addition to site-specific information, each operator's plan must include provisions for training new miners, newly hired experienced miners, annual refresher training, new task training, and hazard training. This online training course will guide you through each element of an accepted MSHA training plan. It will provide valuable insight for writing your site-specific MSHA underground training plan.
