Medical Office Courses
CTO offers online training for Cal/OSHA, DOT HAZMAT, EEOC, EPA, HIPAA, IATA, IMDG, MSHA, OSHA, Canada OHS, and TDG, including OSHA-required certificate courses for medical office workers on topics like bloodborne pathogens, electrical safety, hazard communication, ergonomics, and hazardous medical waste handling.
With engaging audio and video content, our courses ensure high retention and efficient learning. Upon completion, students can instantly print their certificates and wallet cards.
All healthcare employees, including doctors, nurses, front office staff, and technicians are required to complete initial and annual OSHA training in topics relevant to the medical industry. OSHA's regulations that commonly apply to medical offices are found within 29 CFR.
Healthcare workers face unique workplace safety hazards not common in other industries. Exposure to a medical office hazard such as bloodborne pathogens, medical waste, radiation, or potentially contagious patients puts medical professionals at an increased risk for work-related accidents or injury. These on-the-job incidents lead to decreased productivity, missed workdays, and expensive medical costs that can result in workers' compensation claims or personal injury lawsuits.
